Dive Master
The House Reef Dive Master course is a professional-level certification in scuba diving. It is designed for divers who want to take the first step in becoming dive professionals. Here’s an overview of what the course typically involves:
Prerequisites
Minimum Age: 18 years old
Certifications: PADI Advanced Open Water Diver and PADI Rescue Diver (or equivalent certifications from another organization)
Experience: Minimum of 40 logged dives to begin the course and 60 dives to earn certification
Medical Clearance: A medical statement signed by a physician within the last 12 months

Watermanship and Skills Assessment:
Swim tests (e.g., 400 meters without stopping)
Treading water for a specified time
Rescue exercises and skills demonstration

Course Duration
The duration can vary, but typically it takes around 6 to 8 weeks if done intensively. However, it can also be completed over several months, depending on the student’s availability and the dive center’s schedule.
