Scope Diving Safari North Hurghada: 7-Day Program

Day 1: Arrival and Orientation

- Arrival at Hurghada: Arrive at Hurghada International Airport. Transfer to the dive boat.
- Boat Orientation: Settle into your cabins and receive a briefing about the boat facilities, safety procedures, and the week's itinerary.
- Equipment Check: Ensure all diving equipment is in working order. Rent any necessary gear from the boat’s dive shop.
- Dinner: Enjoy a welcome dinner on board.

Day 2: Check Dive and Northern Reefs

- Morning:
- Check Dive: Conduct a shallow check dive at a nearby reef to adjust equipment and buoyancy.
- Dive Site: El Fanadir. Known for its beautiful coral formations and abundant marine life.

- Afternoon:
- Dive Site: Shaab El Erg. Famous for dolphin encounters
- Evening: Night dive option available.

Day 3: Wreck Dives

- Morning:
- Dive Site: Abu Nuhas. Explore the famous wrecks such as Giannis D and Carnatic.

- Afternoon:
- Dive Site: Chrisoula K wreck.
- Evening: Briefing on the next day’s dive sites. Relax on board.

Day 4: Ras Mohammed National Park

- Morning:
- Dive Site: Shark Reef and Yolanda Reef. Renowned for stunning coral gardens and diverse marine life.

- Afternoon:
- Dive Site: Jackfish Alley. Known for its caverns and swim-throughs.
- Evening: Social time and optional night dive.

Day 5: Straits of Tiran

- Morning:
- Dive Site: Jackson Reef. Known for its vibrant coral and potential for shark sightings.

- Afternoon:
- Dive Site: Thomas Reef. Famous for its dramatic drop-offs and rich marine life.

- Evening:
- Return to the boat for relaxation and dinner.

Day 6: Back to Hurghada

- Morning:
- Dive Site: Umm Gamar. Known for its underwater caves and coral formations.

- Afternoon:
- Dive Site: Small Giftun Island. Explore its coral gardens and wall dives
- Evening: Final night celebration on board with a farewell dinner.

Day 7: Departure

- Morning:
- Packing: Pack your gear and belongings.
- Debrief: Complete any necessary paperwork and receive dive logs/certificates.
- Transfer to Airport: Depart from the boat and transfer to Hurghada International Airport for your flight home.

Key Information
- Dive Certification: Open Water Diver certification is typically required. Advanced Open Water Diver recommended for wreck dives.
- Equipment: Basic dive gear (mask, fins, snorkel, wetsuit, BCD, regulator, dive computer). Additional gear like torches for night dives.
- Health: Ensure you are medically fit to dive. Bring any necessary medications.
- Insurance: Dive insurance is highly recommended.

Tips for a Successful Safari
- Stay Hydrated: Drink plenty of water to stay hydrated.
- Sun Protection: Use sunscreen and wear protective clothing when on deck.
- Rest: Get ample rest between dives.

• Diving Certification:
  Open Water Diver certification or equivalent for certified divers.

• Medical Clearance:
  Participants must be in good health and able to pass a basic medical questionnaire. If you have any medical conditions, please bring a clearance letter from your doctor.
